Gun Show
Who is this guy who posts every other week? Anyway, last week Sean and I went to a gun show at the KCI Expo Center. Although I was really temped to buy one of the several Automatic Kalashnikov-47 carbines for around $300-400, I decided to wait (for now). I did, however, find a selection of shotguns that I was not able to resist. I purchased a Charles Daly 12 guage semi-auto shotgun that is all black with composite stock and handle. It is a used gun, but appears to be well worth the $250 price tag - especially considering other semi-automatics were going for $400+. It was nice to buy a shotgun at the show because you could walk out the door with it. Another good thing about buying at the show is that it doesn't necessarily have to conform with local gun laws. My gun holds 5 shells in the magazine and one in the chamber, and I'm pretty sure it's only legal to have 3 in the magazine.
We took it out and shot it last Sunday. It did jam a lot, but I blame that on the rain. I can't wait to get out to Mancamp and put the new gun through a field test.

Lucky!
I'm going to miss the local gun show here in town. I'll be in Reno. I've been meaning to get myself a nicer pistol.
I went there looking for pistols. Not a lot of people had new ones, and the ones they did have were nice and expensive.
Sooner or later I'll get equipped with a pistol, probably from a local pawn shop. I think I'll get paintball stuff first
Would you rather I be anti-gun, Laura?
` Yer a good ol' boy, ain't ya?
Laura. It's a good thing the Chinese don't have guns, otherwise the government would have had a really hard time oppressing that many people for so long. Communism has only killed a billion people, let's give it another try.
Spoony. I am a renaissance man. I don't subscribe to notions of labeling of people based on opinions, politics, or physical attributes. I am also a staunch supporter of our second ammendment right to keep and bear arms, including all sorts of firearms.
I do not think that any of my firearms will protect me from anything. Especially since I keep them in such a way at home that it would take 5 minutes to fire one shot.
I am a shooting sports fan. I'm against most firearms regulation because it targets a symptom or tool rather than the problem, and is usually not well implemented.
I guess I'm probably a good ol' boy too.
just the good ol' boys...never meaning no harm. Beats all you ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born....
Happy Birthday, A-ron! See you Saturday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY GUN TOTING FRIEND!!!!
Congratulations on one more turn around the sun. One more for you to go before dirty 30.
Gun show....we'd like to see a gun show. Judging by the shirt you had on today you need to work on that gun show. Love, The "Banging" MLLF MILFS
Thats a good choice with the Charles Daly. Is that true you can only have 3 shells in the magazine ? By the way Happy Birthday.
I'll give you MILFS a gun show you won't soon forget. Once you get a look at these pythons you'll never be the same again.
Denny - I remember that being a law at one point, I think. I've handled a few shotguns and have never seen a (legal) 12 guage that held more than 3 shells.
Thanks to everybody for wishing me happy birthday. I wish I could've been as excited about as some other people were.
