Bad Times

I woke up this morning to find that somebody had gotten into my car and stole my mp3 player. I guess I had left my door unlocked, so I made it easy for them. They stole my Zen, my transmitter, all my change (excluding pennies), 3 cigarettes sitting on my seat, and a bottle of cologne. I think it was probably one of the kids that ride their skateboard outside my place. Next time I see one I'm going to offer a reward. Upsetting.
I have also become aware in the last week or so that I have apparently been the victim of identity theft. It seems as if somebody who lives in Florida has used my SSN to get themselves a cellular phone. Looks like somebody got a phone using my info and never paid the bill. Apparently T-Mobile thinks that I owe them about $600. The think that I've owed it to them since December of 2004. They have since turned the matter over to a collection agency, and have thus marred my credit rating. I have my sister on the case, so I'm sure the matter will be resolved quickly and in my favor. Still upsetting.
Oh well, I still haven't given up on my 'don't F with karma' ideology.

Bunch of savages. I hope you can get it resolved so it doesn't ruin your credit.

Thanks Jade. I'm pretty confident in my sister's ability to make this work out for me.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the punk kids. They weren't hanging out by my house last night.
Dude, that sucks donkey balls. I feel for you. Thank god you have backup of your music. Still, the player was pricey. I remember when all my albums were stolen, it felt like the end of the world. Also, the rage that accompanied it was total. I was ready to slowly torture and kill whomever took my stuff. You probably remember me telling you that I was going to get an alarm and sleep with a gun bedside so I could run out, shoot first and ask questions later if it ever happened again. Probably a good idea that I didn't do that. As far as the identity theft...that's scary as hell. How do you think it could've happened? I figure your computer is pretty well protected. Hopefully you can get your credit score fixed. You might want to get a free credit report and see how bad this affected your score. I'm not sure what avenues you would have to pursue to get it remedied, but it would be worth it if you are planning on making a major purchase in the next couple of years. As for the f**kers that stole your stuff. I'm going to call the Karma police on them post haste, so be on the lookout for anyone with balls growing out of their chin and a chocolate starfish right beneath their nose.
Number one thing to do immediately is get your credit report wich can be obtained for free if you read the fine print of their websites. They can also get you info on putting a "freeze" on your credit if you deem it necessary.

Next thing should be to report to your local police. they may not be much help at first however its a good place to start documenting whats going on.
` HOLY SHITE!!!
` Ha... I've had my credit card identity stolen before, but it was fixed before anyone even told me.
` Also, I had all my diaries, photos, computer and disks stolen.... even though I knew who did it, I didn't get them back. I was even more depressed than usual for about six months after that - it's not like I can by more records of my personal life!
` I know how it is. It sucks.
` Wanna know an irritating story? EdgeWalker once made this wallet, which was stolen. They kept it for 'evidence', but he didn't want to go to court about it. He kept asking to get it back but they wouldn't give it.
` Well, the police-whomevers destroyed it because he couldn't get it back from them after 30 days.
` Let's hope something similarly stupid doesn't happen with you.
Thanks y'all. Hopefully my sister knows what to do.
I've given up on retreiving my Zen, and have replaced it with a used one I got on ebay. It should be shipping today.
that blows azz.

Thanks Cas. I went to a party with the captain. It was neat because we could see several displays from this guys house up on a hill.
