Waterbed Sinks, Leaves Aaron Bedless
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm proud to announce that I am no longer bedless. Last night my mom and I drove to her house in Chillicothe to pick up one of her beds for me to use.
The story begins a couple weeks ago when I decided I was finally going to get rid of my old fashioned waterbed. I was just tired of it, and mom had offered one of her beds, so I was in a hurry to give/throw it away.
So, two weeks ago I dismantled the waterbed and threw it in the dumpster fully expecting to drive to Chillicothe the next day and pick up the new bed. As luck would have it, it rained all weekend. I didn't really have a chance to go there between then and last night, so for the last two weeks I've been relegated to sleeping on the futon.
Don't get me wrong, the futon is a nice place to sleep in an emergency - just ask a couple members of the Pentarchy, but I'm ready to sleep in a nice bed for the first time in a long time.

30 Helens agree....the futon rocks for sleeping. I give it two snores up.
that pick of the water bed reminded me of the last one i owned. Several years ago i moved into an apartment that was located above a small cafe. I had everything moved upstairs and filling up the waterbed was one of the finishing touches to be completely moved in besides some unpacking. The bed was almost full to the brim and somehow the mattress developed rupture and proceeded to flood my enitire bedroom and the deluge went right through the floor and soaked the entire cafe below. needless to say my neighbors downstairs werent to fond of me.
Ya Jason, the futon rocks for a night or two. I think you'd change your opinion if given a week or two on the thing.
Denny - that's one of the reasons I wanted a ground floor apartment. I don't mind if my stuff gets wet, but I couldn't afford to get somebody else's stuff wet.
Good choice getting rid of the waterbed. Unless you're Quagmire, I can't see why anyone would want to own one.

was it for the ladies? cause trust me, ladies don't go for waterbeds anymore.....
did it spin around or vibrate? did mood music come out of the headboard speakers? No?
Good work my friend. Welcome to the 21st century.
and you're not the only one. why is it that boys LOVE waterbeds?
They are nice in the winter because they are pre-heated. Other than that they are fairly comfortable. Absolutely horrible for when you have the drunk spins though.
They're ok. They're better than a futon, usually.
I think people don't like them because they don't know them, and they're scared of them. They're probably scared they'd poke a hole in it with their gnarly toenails and drown in their sleep.
Cas, my new bed spins, vibrates, and plays music from hidden headboard speakers. It also has a chilled champagne bucket, and ice maker, fridge, and automatic condom dispenser.
Giggedy-giggedy-goo!! Aw-right!

` Don't I know a futon is nice? I frickin' sleep on the floor!
Well Spoony, if you ever spent the night at my place you would have the honor of sleeping on the futon.
