Return of AaronKCMO

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my supreme pleasure to announce that AaronKCMO is back! After a 48 hour blackout the flagship of the AaronKCMO network is online and functioning.
The cause of the outage is still under investigation. The outage was first noticed at around noon on Monday. All of a sudden the URL came back as a 404 error - which means the URL is not found on the server. This was scary because I hadn't backed up my template in quite some time. I first noticed it when I was at work. As luck would have it the only window I had the blog open in I had just refreshed to get the 404 error. I was afraid that it was all lost.

I get home and am greatly releived to find my blog open in one instance on SATA150. I quickly saved the source code into a text file and saved the entire site locally. At this point I hadn't given up on the blog unexpectedly returning just as it undexpectedly went away. As hope for this dwindled over the day on Tuesday I became more practical and thought of creating a surrogate blog in the meantime.

May it be written that on April 16, 2006 my planes filled the skies. The triumphant return of AaronKCMO is at hand!

Glad to see you are back online! I know how upset you were about the sudden dissappearance.
Are you going to blog from Pirate Radio as well?
SYMPTOMS OF A BLOGGING ADDICTION
* You check your journal more than 10 times a day, or even 10 times an hour
* You have more Journal Comment Alerts in your mailbox than spam
* Your best friends have screen names and URLs instead of real names and street addresses.
* You log down the number on your hit counter before you sign off at night and check it first thing in the morning. You record these numbers for future reference.
* You have actually been late for work because you were reading your favorite journals.
* You family has to leave a comment on your journal to get your attention.
* You turn the volume up when you walk away from the computer so you can hear when the alert alarm sounds.
* You beg strangers to read yours if you'll read theirs!
* Being the #1 Editor's Pick is more important to you then winning a Pulitzer Prize.
Heed these warning signs, Aaron! I think you're on the edge!
Heather, did yours disappear also?
~Jade
No. I intentionally removed mine. Its a long story. I'm not sure if I will put it back up, school & work are occupying more time than I have. I just got more responsibilities at work!!
well boo!
i understand about work and school! i've barely had time for my own since my season's started! i couldn't imagine going to school as well!
congrats on getting your blog back! I wonder what happened?
and where did you get that picture of me and my catholic school friend at the top of your blog?
` Wait... what's going on? Your blog has been deleted from the blogger servers? How can this happen!?!?
Good to see you back up and running. It's a shame you lost it all. Hopefully you will be able to recover it. On another note. Hank 3 and Assjack are coming to Columbia on Saturday, June 24th. Tickets are 15 bucks. I'm definetly going. Ask around if anyone else wants to come. Gasca might be interested. Let me know.
so did that bring the value of your blog down ?
Ya, I lost 12% of value on blogshares. The technorati site didn't see any change.
I'm boycotting blogshares because of their recent revaluation of their entire market which resulted in the loss of 75% of the value of my portfolio.
