Lasik Time L + 1 year

May 5, 2005 is a day that will be highly regarded in the annals of AaronKCMO history. This was the day when a leap of faith was taken, and my vision was handed over to Dr. Steckshulte. After a very brief procedure and a very short recovery, my prescription went from -4.75/-5.25 to -.25 in both eyes. Side effects at this point are so minimal that they're not even worth mentioning. The only thing left is to finish paying off the note.
I will always celebrate cinco de mayo not as Mexican independence day, but as my very own independence day - independence from corrective lenses.

glad to hear a good endorsement, ive been thinking of getting it done for quite a while. Im so sick of these contacts. uhk.
It's worth every penny - all 420,000.
I chose Discover because of their lifetime warranty. If you're still queasy about it, I suggest you go and watch a procedure being done.
Sorry Heather, it wasn't me.
I'm not immediately aware of any such device. Those tasks could be handled by two devices, and I think I'd prefer it that way.
congrats! i've almost forgotten what you looked like WITH glasses!
WAIT!!!
i've found some pretty funny ones in my photo albums! just wait till i scan them in! haha!
actually there are two such portable devices that are offered through XM satalite radio. The first is called the Myfi which offers recording ability of xm content up too four hours. The other newwer model is the Helix which has XM content recording ability and also mp3 storage and playback and many other nice little features. The latter of the two wont be available to the public for a couple more months. If anyone has a few extra pennies to spend on the service i definately recomend it.
Good work Denny.
Tivo for satellite radio, sounds perfect for talk programs.

` Y'know what's weird? I know someone who does not want lasik because he can't stand watching his eye get 'cut into' for a few minutes and yet not be able to feel it.
Spoony, being a mad scientist you must know how much lascerations to the eye can hurt. I'm sure that poor naive fellow would much rather his eye be numb when the incision is made. I felt very little pain at any point of the evaluation, procedure, or recovery.
` I know... as much as he hates pain, he can't stand lidocaine because being hurt and not being able to feel it really freaks him out! On the other hand, I'm quite the opposite....
