Last Day at NC
Well folks, today is the last day I will be employed by Network Communications. As of next Tuesday I will start with MLLF. I'm lucky because my benefits from MLLF will start immediately, so I don't have to use Cobra or go uninsured. The retirement benefits won't start for 6 months, but that doesn't really bother me considering I'm almost 29 and haven't had any retirement benefits up to this point.I'm apprehensive about the move. I didn't like the way it went down, but thinking about it now I'm not sure what could've made it better. I'm excited about working for a single company and being able to concentrate on them, but I'm definitely going to miss all of the other clients I've been working with over the last 15 months. I'm going to miss everybody at MRS&B with whom I've spent most of my working hours in the past months. I really liked working there, and I learned a great deal about this business from them.
It's going to take me a while to get comfortable at MLLF. I haven't worked at a regular 8-5 job since my days at Horsepower Control, which was more than 3 years ago. I'm sure everything will be OK, but that doesn't keep me from stressing out. Anyway...
Happy New Year! I hope everybody has a good weekend!

Good luck. Changing jobs can be tricky and sometimes the best you can hope for is to leave with a decent reference.
Jason said you were having a soiree of some kind Saturday, so we'll see ya there.
