The 2006 USTA Missouri Valley Mens

Sectional tournament starts this Friday, and guess who's going to be representing the HOA District and the Borders/Baldwin team in the #1 singles position at the first match of the tournament... Yes indeed, ladies and gentlemen, this Friday morning I will be playing singles in a sectional tournament match at the 3.5 level, just like I did at the 3.0 level last year. Last year when I played in the mens Sectional in Des Moines I went 4 and 1 with my only loss going to the tournament champion team, namely Steve Stoner.

I feel confident this year that the opponents aren't going to be pushovers. I am also confident that I will be able to defeat any punks from NE, KS, IA, OK, or STL - with NE being first in line.
