Enter My Domain
Howdy folks. I have some happy news to bring from the 'site stuff' file. I'm happy to announce that I have recently purchased a domain name. What does this mean? It now means that I own http://www.aaronkcmo.com (for 2 years) and I can make that URL point to whatever I want. I have also chosen to mask the real URL of the blog site, so if you go to AaronKCMO.com it will show up as that address in the address bar. I can also choose to create a completely new site, find somewhere to host it, and have a true website rather than a blog. I also currently get one email address @AaronKCMO.com... AaronKCMO@AaronKCMO.comI went with GoDaddy.com for the purchase mainly because they were cheaper than Register.com and NetworkSolutions.com. For a few bucks more they have a lot of good features such as hosting and enhanced email.
I'm going to have to create a logo.... and a slogan. I need some registered trademarks.
P.S. This is another innovation originated by LocoMocos.

congrats on the domain name!
so what's the deal with mine when you navigate to another page, my address is still in the nav bar?
can i fix that?
what up genius web guy?
help!
Godaddy.com calls it masking. I would imagine that the others have the same name for it.
You have to log into your domain administration account, with whomever you got your domain, and set it up from there.
I see that you already have forwarding set up, so masking should be a breeze.
` EVIL! I love it!
ok Aaron, i have registered a couple of domain names now how do use them to attach them to particular site ? Laura i disagree, girls can be nerds and sometimes there even sexier for it !
